Take part in a guided walk through the city and see how the Diors left their mark on local life and how their industrial activities partly shaped urban development. The walk will help you understand Christian Dior’s family history, a man who comes from a long line of entrepreneurs with a love for their city.
Departing from the Christian Dior Garden, visitors make their way past the Val-ès-Fleurs and the location of the former Dior fertiliser plants, the cork factory, the brewery and the railway station, along with a few civil buildings including the Lanos school and some of the Dior family’s houses.
The guided walk lasts between 1h30 and 2h. It is intended for people aged 16 and over, good walkers equipped with walking shoes: 5-km long route. Due to the many stairways, the walk is not accessible to people with reduced mobility. Participants must come equipped with a hat or umbrella and bottle of water. If the weather is bad, the guided walk may be cancelled.
